We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2024, at the age of 77, Sara Soberon Salinas in Houston, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Mario Salinas; and her daughter Norma Delia Salinas. She is survived by: her children, Mario Alberto Salinas (Lucero), Everardo Salinas (Adriana), Sara Salinas, Hermenegildo Zumaya and Maria Elena Salinas (Francisco Avina); and her siblings, Cesar, Samuel, Elizar, Benjamin, San Juana, Zuelema, Magdalena and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Compean Funeral Home (2102 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77012). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039).
