It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sanford Jay Slobin in Houston, Texas, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Slobin and Philip Slobin; and his brother Lester Slobin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Bender; his son Cary Slobin (Lauren); his grandchildren, Ava, Asher and Alec; his son Brett Slobin (Sandra); and his sister-in-law Marlene Slobin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made in Sandy's name to a charity of your choice.
