She was predeceased by: her true love Sandy Herman; and her adoptive parents, Bertha "Bert" Steinhart and Jacob "Jake" Steinhart. She is survived by: her daughter Roberta Herman Dietrich; her son-in-law Michael; her sister Caryn; her brother-in-law Simon Ogier; her stepchildren, Phyllis Leibowitz and Ed Leibowitz (Mary); her stepgrandson Isaac Leibowitz; and her birth parents, Gussie and Samuel Goss.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Herman and Elaine Proler Chapel at Congregation Beth Israel Memorial Garden (1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055).
