He was predeceased by: his parents, Herber C. Sword, Sr. and Ivory D. Sword; and his brother Herbert C. Sword, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Adrian Sword; and his sister-in-law Leona Sword.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Loyal Missionary Baptist Church (3901 N MacGregor Way, Houston, TX 77004).
