Robert B. Couch Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert B. Couch in Houston, Texas, born in Guntersville, Alabama, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. E. H. Couch and Janie Couch. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Sheridan; his children, Steve Couch (Christie), Leslie Couch (David Finlay), Colleen Reed (Scott) and Betsy Radtke (Mark); his grandchildren, Heather, Stephanie, David (Deborah), Molly (Andrew), Ian, Austin (Laura), Sean, Amanda and Emily (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Amethyst, Micah, Burl and Owen.

During the dark days of the Covid pandemic in 2020, Bob added a light to his life when he met Sue Sheridan, a neighbor on Ball Street in Galveston and the two became close friends - spending their days walking and chatting.

In lieu of flowers, please enjoy an Astros game with your friends and family in memory of Bob Couch.
