Robert Allan left this world on September 24, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Preston Longmire and Germaine Rocquet Longmire; his siblings, Adele Franz, Jane Wiedemann, John and Charles Longmire of New Orleans; and his grandson Michael Breaux of Baton Rouge.
He is survived by: his significant other Gayle Schwarzenbach; and his children, Bob, Jr., Catherine, Dan, Jay, Fran, Judi and Liz.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Earthman Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (11720 Joan of Arc Dr, Houston, TX 77024). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 9th 2024 at 10:30 PM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (11720 Joan of Arc Dr, Houston, TX 77024).
In Bob's honor, charitable contributions to the Salvation Army of Greater Houston would be appreciated.
