He is survived by: his son Richard Jr.; his grandchildren, Jennifer Cress (Alex), Catherine Dammasch (Oliver), Ricky (Quinn), John (Christin), Elliott (Krysta), Sarah (Ryan Doskocil), Timothy and Matt; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ryleigh, Alana, Skylar, Amelia, Owen and Wyatt; and his nieces, Sarah Funck and Barbara O'Keefe. He is also survived by five children, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Klein Funeral Home - Cy Fair (9719 Wortham Blvd, Houston, TX 77065). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (11507 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, TX 77065). The military honors was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
