Randolph Allen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randolph Allen (Houston, Texas), who passed away on November 30, 2019 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Rudge Allen Jr.; and his grandparents, Emmet, Carol Crow of Houston, Edward R. Allen Sr. and Mary Margaret Moody of Galveston.

He is survived by: his significant other Laurie Landry Allen; his daughters, Morgan Elizabeth Allen and Kendall Nancy Allen; his mother Nancy C. Allen; his brother Edward R. Allen III (Chinhui); his nieces, Jessica and Jenny; his brother Wilson G. Allen (Janet); his nieces and nephews, Amelia and Channing; his cousins, Risher, Hally, David and Will; his nephews, Wilson Allen Jr. and Stuart Randall; and also, Fairfax Randall and Cameron Neal.

While some counseled that they put off the opening, Randy went to work to have the difficult conversations with leaders around Houston to ensure their efforts were not derailed and helped secure the last donations needed to fulfill their goal.
