She is survived by: her children, Chad Briggs of Los Angeles, Colleen of Austin and Lisa Briggs of Austin; her son-in-law Matthew Forshaw of Austin; her siblings, Gregory Salyers (Pat Nover) of San Antonio, David Salyers (Marsha) of Atlanta, Georgia and Barbara Conner (Chris) of Houston; her siblings-in-law, Richard and Linda Briggs of Beaumont; her nieces and nephews, Shara, Lindsay, Kaylee, Lee, Joe, Travis and Tate; her mother Mary Ann Salyers; and her sister Janet Salyers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Port Neches, in her honor.
