He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Goren and Herman Goren of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his cousin Neal; his wife Kerry Goren; his children, Kyra Goren and Chasen Goren; his brothers, Dr. Elihu Goren (Sara Goren) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Dr. Oscar Goren (Gail Goren) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Lewis (Joni Gaylor Lewis) of Houston, Texas and Joni Canter (David Canter) of Los Angeles, California. He is also survived by relatives, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Herman & Elaine Proler Chapel at Beth Israel Memorial Garden (1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055).
