In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Miles had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Miles may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his daughter Jennifer Anderson Flaherty (Dave); and his grandsons, Jack and Bobby.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079). A reception will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Jude Hall (625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079).
A private interment will be held at the La Veta Cemetery in Colorado at a later date, as Miles chose to donate his body to the University of Texas Medical School through their Willed Body Program. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The American Cancer Society.
