Though Miles may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his daughter Jennifer Anderson Flaherty (Dave); and his grandsons, Jack and Bobby.
A private interment will be held at the La Veta Cemetery in Colorado at a later date, as Miles chose to donate his body to the University of Texas Medical School through their Willed Body Program. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to The American Cancer Society.
