He was predeceased by: his mother Anita Chapa Esparza of D'Hanis, Texas.; his wife Lydia Figirova Cabasos; and his siblings, Santiago (Jimmy), Eliseo, Gilberto, Manuel, Angel, Hortensia Guerra, Juanita Guerra (Janie) and Josie Deleon.
He is survived by: his father Antonio Diaz Guerra of Sabinal; his siblings, Frank, Tony Guerra, Carmen Garcia of Houston and Gloria Gomez of Houston; his children, Deidra Donart of St. Louis, Missouri, Melissa Jurick (Paul) of Cypress, Laura Guerra (Carsten) of Germany and Celena Pawlak (Jeremy) of Houston; his grandchild Taryn Alicia Guerra of Coos; his children, Dennis Michael Guerra (Angela) of New Caney, Jesse Michael Guerra of Humble, Sarah Marie Donart, Jill Louise Donart of St. Louis, Missouri, Angelina R. Thomas, Louis A. Thomas of Germany, Carina Pawlak, Mira Pawlak, Julia Pawlak, Sophia Pawlak, Vincent Pawlak and Anthony Pawlak of Houston; and his great grandchildren, Aida Collins-Guerra and Amaya Collins of Oregon.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Home - Atascocita (17404 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Atascocita, TX 77346). A rosary was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (501 Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rosewood Memorial Park - Humble (2602 S Houston Ave, Humble, TX 77396).
