He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard James Burke and Nan Philbin Burke; and his brother Richard James Burke "Rick". He is survived by: his wife Terri Lee Burke (Cunningham); his daughters, Kelly Anne and Katelyn Nan Burke; his sister Patricia Cool (Charles "Charlie" Cool); his niece Ashley Zerick (Andrew "Andy" Zerick); his nephew Jerry James Burke; his in-laws, Clifford and Julia Cunningham (Trent); his siblings-in-law, Sherri Howe (Cunningham), Lindsey Howe and Curtis Clifford Cunningham; and his nieces, Emily Barbour (Luke Barbour) and Rachel Howe (Clayton Hudson).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maggiano's Little Italy (602 Memorial City Mall, Houston, TX 77024).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in his name be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org) and the Heart Failure Research Foundation.
