With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Yvonne Phillips of Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Yvonne Phillips to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Phillips. She is survived by: her sister Sadie Price (Roger); her children, Stuart Phillips (Cyndi) and Lisa Gentry (Craig); and her grandchildren, Dustin McCarver, Jarrod, Cindy McCarver, Chase, Katie Gentry, Hannah, Matt Bormann, Brooke and Grant Lund.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Maxine's legacy.
