With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mattie Finley Gondran of Houston, Texas, born in Kopperl, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Hall and Willie Mae Hall; her husband Jack Finley; her son Jay; and her husband Jerry Gondran (Jerry).
She is survived by: her children, Terri Sherman (Mark) and David Finley (Mandy); her daughter-in-law Barbara Finley; her children, Paul Gondran (Sue Ellen), Suzanne Gondran and Christopher Gondran; her siblings, Jimmie (Jerry Brinke) and James Hall (Judy); her grandchildren, Jack Sherman (Haley), Hannah Murray (Nathan), Mattie Finley, Samuel Finley, Michael Gondran, Neal Gondran (Erica), Amy Gondran, Ellie Gondran and Jessie Gondran; and her great grandchildren, Johnny and Violet Gondran.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (217 W Quitman Ave, Gladewater, TX 75647).
