She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bias and Irene Bias; her son Walter Lee; her husband Jesse Lee Shepard; and her son Jesse Charles Shepard.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Darlene (Don), Lawanda Carol (Craig), Reginald Eugene, Cassandra Kaye, Harold Wayne and Joan (David).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reunion Missionary Baptist Church (7300 Wheatley St, Houston, TX 77088). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
