She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Packard and Iola Packard; her husband Robert Beard Jr.; her sister Shirley Quigley; and her grandson Adrian Broadhead.
She is survived by: her sons, David Broadhead (Magdalena) and Michael Broadhead (Lori); and her grandchildren, Maison Broadhead (Pamela), Valen Broadhead, Brandice Hawkins (Barrett), Nick Broadhead (Charelle), Nate Broadhead, Cortney Wright (Cole) and McKenzie (Trey). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the American Heritage Funeral Home (10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
