She was predeceased by: her parents, Simona B. Castro and Hilario S. Castro; and her husband Jose A. Villarreal Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Jose A. Villarreal Jr. (Sylvia), Johnny J. Villarreal and Dominic D. Alvarado (Alicia); her grandchildren, Angel, D'Angelo, Hazel, Amira, Ricardo and Rolando; her brothers, Larry Castro (Peggy), Paul Castro (Rose), Gilbert Castro (Helen), Ramon Castro (Patti) and Frank Castro (Frances); her sister-in-law Margaret Castro; her siblings, Herlinda Carrizales, Johnny J. Castro and Leroy Castro; and her brother-in-law Juan J. Carrizales. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Felix H. Morales Funeral Home (2901 Canal St, Houston, TX 77003). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
