She was predeceased by: her parents, Moody Rufus and Drefka Alford (Yates); her husband Fred Garvin of Lueders; her brother Firman Perry Alford; and her sons, Robert Moody Garvin and Perry Clayton Garvin.
She is survived by: her sons, Fred Allan Garvin (Karen) of League City, Scott Arlen Garvin (Patty) of Fosters and Brent Daniel Garvin of Clarksville, Tennessee. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
