It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Isabel Vasquez (Houston, Texas), who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Pedro Vazquez Soto and Gloria Sanchez of Vazquez; her siblings, Teresa Salto (Gregorio Lopez), Martha Salto (Rodolfo Corona), Jose Salto (Maribel), Nadia Sanchez (Miguel Andaya) and Pedro Vazquez; her nieces and nephews, Regino, Diego, Alejandro, Giovanni, Lysha, Yuri, Rodolfo Jr., Luz Clarita, Jose, Chris, Adamarialin, Eduardo, Sofia and Samirah; and her pets, Rambo and LD.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Compean Funeral Home (2102 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77012). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7250 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77011). A burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
