She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest George Hotze, Jr.; her brother William Audrey Fagan, Jr.; her grandson David Bradley Hotze; her great grandchild Molly Catherine Liuzzi; and her parents, Elizabeth Lorraine Moutier and William Audrey Fagan, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Dr. Steven Forrest Hotze (Janie), Bruce Read Hotze, Sr. (Beth), James Benedict Hotze (Cindy), Ernest Mark Hotze (Cathy), David Neill Hotze, Sr. (Donna), Richard Kennan Hotze (Nancy), Margaret Lorraine Heerensperger (Tim Heerensperger) and Christopher Andrew Hotze (Ashley); her grandchildren, Mary Beth Burrow (Tom), Catherine Cagle (Paul), Sarah Liuzzi (Matthew), Paul Hotze (Chloe), Patrick Hotze (Laura), Deborah McInnes (John), Rebekah Gorder (Casey), Elizabeth Sanchez (Fred), Bruce Hotze, Jr. (Alafair), Christian Drake (Brian), Michele Supple (Ty), Helen Heap (Ted), Ernest Hotze (Caroline), Melissa Hotze, Dr. Margaret Anne Skaug (Brian Skaug), Dr. Timothy Hotze, William Hotze (Jessica), Lorraine Black (Jeremy), Theresa Hotze, Dr. Matthew Hotze (Elise), Luke Hotze (Megan), Gary Hotze, David Hotze, Jr., Clare Hotze, Brendan Hotze, Philip Hotze, Alexander Hotze, Dr. Mary Louise Hotze, Carolyn Clare Hotze, Jonathan Heerensperger, Jennifer Heerensperger, Bridget Moore (Brian), Dr. Emily Navarro (Jaime), Gregory Heerensperger, Laura Hall (Brendan), Ellen Tarango (Fabian), Katie Heerensperger, Benjamin Heerensperger, Thomas Hotze (Laura), Kathleen Hotze and Julia Hotze; and her sister-in-law Beatrice Roach Fagan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, devoted friends and loyal caregivers.

The group formed the Catholic Truth Foundation of Houston and opened Veritas Catholic Bookstore.
