She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Michalak and Eleanora Michalak (Kaminski); her husband Mike Tomczak; her son-in-law Corky Brown; her great grandchild Christopher Brown; and her brothers, Leon, Frank, John, Nick, Pete and Stanley Michalak.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Brown, Michael Tomczak (Georgia) and Emily Hilligiest (Wayne); and her sisters, Hedwig Mosley, Nancy Danna and Frances Zientek. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and twenty-one great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
