She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rodger and Ethel Rodger (Thomas Halsey); her sons-in-law, Charles Golden and Bobbie Nerie; her grandson Thomas Helms; and her great grandchild Jayce Christopher Hayman.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Golden, Debra Martin (Eugene Martin), Gayle Nerie, Brenda Helms (Mark Helms), Christopher Halsey (Tammie Halsey) and Alysha Halsey; her grandchildren, Carol Golden, Aindrea Halsey, Rebecca Golden, Christopher Halsey Jr., Amanda Helms, Donna Gilmour (Scott Gilmour), Brittney Halsey, Krysten Halsey, Leonardo Halsey and Nathan Halsey; her great grandchildren, Lilly Mae Cruz, Adalyn Rae Gilmour and Wesley Scott Gilmour; and her pets, Sugar Butt and Pickles.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home (21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:20 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
