With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lila Schoenfeld of Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kornegay and Lela Kornegay; her husband Herman Karl Schoenfeld (Army Air Corps); her siblings, Paul, Hugh, Sid, Calvin, Faye Black, Shirley Marie Vaudrey and Lois Smith; and her sisters-in-law, Elsie Cooper, Helen Kanz, Elizabeth Staats and Lottie Kelm.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Russell Vaudrey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers you may consider a donation in Lila's memory to Salvation Army – New Braunfels, St Jude's Children's Research Hospital or First Methodist Church New Braunfels.
