It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Mason of Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Laverne may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Laverne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ross Mortuary (3618 Lyons Ave, Houston, TX 77020). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2426 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581).
