She is survived by: her sons, Bennie Lee Qualls (Shirley Qualls) and Dennis Lee Qualls (Lisa Qualls); and her sisters, Bettye Birden (Billy Birden) and Claudie Renfro. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northland Missionary Baptist Church (5606 Hopper Rd, Houston, TX 77016). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
