It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keith Verdon Tompkins of Houston, Texas, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charity Ruth Shults Tompkins and George Washington Tompkins; and his wife Audrey Elizabeth McDermott Tompkins. He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Lynn Tompkins Walton; his daughter-in-law Nancy Marie Tompkins; his grandson Brian Keith Tompkins; his siblings, Horace Tompkins, Jack Tompkins, Inez Fowler and Guy Tompkins; his children, Ray Tompkins (Carol), Phil Tompkins (Kay), Joan Johnson (Roy), Gregg Tompkins (Lynette), Russell Tompkins, Timothy Tompkins (Nancy), Karen Michalak (Robert) and Glen Tompkins (Valencia); his son-in-law Mark Walton; his grandchildren, Casie (Andy), Cara (Jeff), Sean (Amy), Amy, Jennifer (Terry), Michael (Jamie), Anna (Gary), Nathan (Cassidy), Audrey (Eric), Allison (Jonah), Andrew (Kelsie), Eric (Amanda), Cory (Angela), Ashley (Robert), Rachel (Nick), Maddy, Emma, Tyler, Makinsey, Reed and Wesley; his sister-in-law Ruth Tompkins; his niece Peggy Fowler; and also Mitzi. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pat H. Foley & Company (1200 W 34th St, Houston, TX 77018). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Park the Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery (18000 I-45, The Woodlands, TX 77384).
