Karen Johnston Kiappes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Johnston Kiappes of Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Knauff Johnston and Julia Ann Morgan Johnston; and her sister Jane Johnston. She is survived by: her husband John Leon Kiappes; her children, John Leon "J. L." Kiappes, Jr., Anna Theodora Kiappes and Edward William Kiappes; her sisters, Judy Rodgers (Tom) and Catherine Linton (Robert); her cousin Burt Jones; and her sisters-in-law, Mercene Kiappes Smith (Tom) and Theresa Kiappes Phillips (Richard). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
