He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Vergara and Maria Luisa Vergara. He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Sandra Torres (Mario), Martin Vergara (Patricia), Blanca Ortiz and Mario Vergara; and his brother Isidro Vergara. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the South Houston Funeral Home (1506 Houston Blvd, South Houston, TX 77587). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Historic Hollywood Cemetery (3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009).
