Buchta and Helen Ann Klima; his brothers, Raymond Buchta of Guy and George Buchta (Margie) of Damon; his cousins, Albert Prihoda of Needville and Victor Pekar of Damon; his daughter Tami Roberts of Dayton, OH; his great grandchild Estella "Ella" Jade; and his siblings-in-law, Jim and Sharon Gardner of Channelview.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his brother Ervin Buchta (Cathey) of Garwood; his sons, William J. Buchta (Mallory) of Blessing and Jim Sivils (Linda) of Needville; his grandson James Buchta (Jordan) of Guy; his daughters, Yolanda Reid of Guy and Carol Hisaw (Jeff) of Cypress; and his grandchild Jody. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church (603 Mulcahy Ave, Damon, TX 77430). A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church (603 Mulcahy Ave, Damon, TX 77430). A Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Damon Catholic Cemetery (3801-3827 Commerce St, Damon, TX 77430).
