He was predeceased by: his brother Nicholas Reid Houy. He is survived by: his parents, John Reid and LaVerne Heimann Houy of Katy, Texas.; his nephew Luke Reid Houy; his niece Kaitlyn Houy; and his close friend Darryl Royston of Houston.
