He was predeceased by: his son Michael Del Rio; and his brother Johnny Cervantes. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Castillo Del Rio; his children, Thomas R. Del Rio (Ana Galvan), George Cirilo and Margaret Olsen (Jimmy); his siblings, Robert Cervantes and Maria Anita Garcia; his grandchildren, Thomas Del Rio, Jr., Stephanie Del Rio and David Del Rio; and his great grandchildren, Angel Del Rio and Francesca Del Rio.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 1:15 PM at the Compean Funeral Home (2102 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77012). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
