It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kaplan (Houston, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on June 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Moselle Erlich and Isadore Erlich; her significant other Marvin Kaplan; her children, Joan, Karen Brooks (Roy), Susan Bruch and Rick Kaplan (Debbie); her grandchildren, Harris Brooks, Emily Singletary (Taft), Sarah Brooks, Ford Bruch, Brooke Kaplan, Jordan Kaplan and Michael Kaplan; her great grandchildren, Sloane and Blaire Singletary; and her sisters, Judy Margolis (Rodney) and Phyllis Asch (George).
