Janette Lawhon Bowers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janette Lawhon Bowers of Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tot Lawhon and Leslie Mae Lawhon (Watkins); her husband Richard E. "Dick" Bowers; and her sister Shirley Lawhon. She is survived by: her children, Connie Cornett, Clay Cornett (Deb), Cole Cornett (Cathy) and Casey Cornett (Susan); her stepchildren, Kelly Stewart (Greg) and George Bowers (Donna); her grandchildren, Chris, Amy, Colby, Colton, Charles, Vivian, Marshall, Stuart, Haley and Sidney; and her great grandchildren, Millie and Connor.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hawley Cemetery (721 Co Rd 436, Blessing, TX 77419).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77079 or a favorite charity.
