James Edward Floyd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Floyd of Houston, Texas, born in Boswell, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron James Floyd and Ethel Mae Floyd (Maxwell); and his brother Charles Floyd. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Floyd; his children, William Floyd (Morgan) of Austin, TX, John Floyd of Hugo, OK and Jennifer Love (Charles) of Montgomery, TX; his grandchildren, Keira Love, Ashlyn Love, Londyn Love, Finleigh Floyd and Liam Floyd; and his cousins, Billy Floyd, Joe Maxwell and Larry Maxwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with a host of other family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller and Miller Funeral Home - Hugo (3151 E Jackson St, Hugo, OK 74743). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
