With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Banks of Houston, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. Banks and Ruby Faye Banks (Ellis); his grandparents, Ivan and Dona Banks; and his brother John Ellis Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Banks of Thornton; his daughters, Lisa Anne (Charles Williams), Lesley Diane (Stephen Reeder) and Lisbeth Ellen (Steve Brown); his grandchildren, Caitlyn (Kevin Drewry), Abigail (Brad Batsell), Ashtin Brown and Madison Brown; his brother Robert Earl; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Banks of Corsicana, Deborah Drum and Barbara Banks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
