She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Peevey (Bertha) and Ida Schoonover (Roy); her brother-in-law James Gunderson; and her niece Judy Falcone Miller. She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyne Gunderson and James Peevey; her children, Jonathan Ryan (Laura) and Hesper Ryan (Ken Giffor); her grandchildren, Zane Gifford, Riviera Ryan, Vanessa Bailey (Sean), Jon Ryan and Julian Ryan; her great grandchildren, Jace, Alice, Xavyer, Andrew and Zophia; her niece Gwen Peevey; her nephew James Peevey Jr.; and her significant other Antoine.
