In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Hettye leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Hettye may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Devenney Loch and Mary Leah Taylor Loch; and her stepsons, Edward Albert Steven Hunter (Cheryl) and Robert Allen Hunter (Marlene). She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Hunter and Leah Barnes (Richard); and her stepdaughter Judy Lee Hunter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hollywood Cemetery (900 Pennsylvania Ave, McComb, MS 39648).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
