He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Charles Matthews, Sr. and Frances LaVerne Nugent Matthews; and his sister Karen Kathleen Proske of Houston. He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Corder Matthews; his sons, Henry Charles Matthews, III and Albert Eugene Matthews; his sisters, Sharon Eileen Smith and Frances Diane Porter; his niece Kathy Proske Falkenbury; and his nephew David Charles Proske. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends.
