He was predeceased by: his brothers, Glen Rickard, Dean Rickard, Donald Rickard and Gary Rickard. He is survived by: his wife Janeen Fobair Rickard; his children, Wendy Broyles (Chad Beard), Ronny Lee (Pat Villarreal), Tad Rickard (Melissa Rickard), Scott Rickard and Megan Stafford (Samantha Stafford); his grandchildren, Jessica Kemp, Tessa Gast, Stevie Lee, Colin Rickard and Hannah Rickard; and his great grandchildren, Madison Kemp, Gavin Kemp, Stassi Gast and Juliette Gast.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Peevey Funeral Home (12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089).
