She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Anderson, Sr. and Lena Mae Lefluer Anderson; and her brothers, Houston Jr., Edmund Lee, Bobby, Steve, Carl and Douglas Anderson.
She is survived by: her son Steve Wayne Brown (Princess); her grandchild DeAndre Courville; her great grandchild Nyla Johnson; her siblings, Terry K. Anderson, Johnny Anderson, Charles Ray Anderson Sr. (Paula), Valerie, Winkey and Anderson Leday (Francis); and her former husband Frank A. Brown.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church (7034 Tierwester St, Houston, TX 77021). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
While in Eunice she was active Southern University Alumni chapter member and the JK Hayat Foundation.
