He is survived by: his wife Dr. Paralee Roberson Shivers; his children, Samson Shivers, Jarrod Shivers, Dr. Tonya Vetter and Elmo Roberson; his grandchildren, LaNessa Harrison (Datron), Desmond Jackson and Ezequiel Elmo Roberson; his great grandchildren, David Azriah Crosby, Davison Jackson and Janice Roby; his aunts, Mary Katherine Grant and Dorothy Jean Ardison; his nephew Clifford Wade Shivers; his cousin Darrell Ardison; and his sister Myrtle McShepherd. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at 4610 Aledo St, Houston, TX 77051. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Paradise South Cemetery (1601 Cullen Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77581).
