She was predeceased by: her husband Edward I. Newman; her sister Jane Smith; her granddaughter Lauren Rosenthal; and her parents, Ken Weir and Esther Weir.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Newman of Centennial, Julie Schmidgall (Alan) of Scottsdale Arizona, Wendy Zipps of Conroe Texas, Ivy Larson (Jeff) of Lago Vista, Edward J. Newman (Kelly) of The Woodlands and Matthew Newman of Cedar Park; and her sister Mary Lou LaFonte of Centennial. She is also survived by Her children and grandchildren remember her as a sweet, beautiful, patient, kind and loving mother.
Donations can be made in Gloria's name to the American Heart Association.
