He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Lausen and Rachel Lausen of Gainesville Texas. He is survived by: his son Fred Lausen Jr. (Peppi); his wife Ada; his daughters, Michell Turkington (Scott) and Rachel Shashoua (Michael); his grandchildren, Ben and Landi Lutz (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Gentry and Lucy; his daughter Leigh Shaw (Collin); his grandchildren, Brayden and Knox; his son Rivers Lausen; and his sister Suzanne "Suzy" Blankenship (Jim) of Dallas Texas.
