It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Dale Pogue in Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Everett Dale Pogue to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Edmond Pogue and Beulah Mae Hall Pogue. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Ann Pogue of Rockport; his children, Lee Pogue of Rockport and Laura Duprie (James) of Goliad; his grandchildren, Dempsey Duprie (Hailey), Emily Duprie, Calvin Duprie and Courtney Forkum; his stepgrandchildren, Lauren Bowden, Lindsey McDowell and Emma Pace; and his siblings, Powell Pogue Pogue (Chloye) of Little Rock and Dorcie Caldwell of Ft. Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory - Rockport (814 E Main St, Rockport, TX 78382). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fulton Cemetery (316 Myrtle St, Rockport, TX 78382). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Rockport (1515 N Live Oak St, Rockport, TX 78382).
