She was predeceased by: her parents, James Earl and Mozelle Baldwin (Trixie); her husband John E. Miertschin; her granddaughter Elizabeth Elwell; her brothers, James Whit Baldwin and Joe Earl Baldwin; and her sisters-in-law, Clara Baldwin and Maxine Baldwin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Miertschin Fortier of Slidell and Kimberly Miertschin Elwell; her son-in-law William Jeffrey Elwell of Katy; her grandchildren, Laine Orser (Richard), David Elwell (Arianna), Lauren Young (Nick) and Emma Murray (Luke); her great grandchildren, Sutter Orser, Knox Young and Richard Orser, Jr.; her siblings, Mabel McCullough (Mackie Lee) and John C. Baldwin; and her cousin Eva Jo Lanier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCauley Funeral Home (101 E Decherd St, Franklin, TX 77856). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
