She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carter and Alberta Carter; her former husband Robert Outley; her brothers, George Carter (Shirley), Calton Carter (Dorothy) and Wilbert Carter; her nephews, Sir George Carter and Arthur Carter, Jr.; and her niece Rachel Tolliver.
She is survived by: her husband William Prejean Sr.; her daughters, Jessie Lorraine (Richard), Willow Robinson (Johnnie) and Willio Lee Prejean; her stepdaughter Gladys Washington Duncan (John); her son William A. Prejean, Jr.; and her siblings, Shirley Davis (Calvin), Arthur Carter Sr. (Maudetta), Carol Carter (Lena), Madeline Sion (Gilbert), AnnaBell Gary (Michael), Earline, Marlene Savoy (Ricky) and Lucille Carter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Paradise Funeral Home Chapel (10401 W Montgomery Rd, Houston, TX 77088). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
