As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ell Jana may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Octava Jackson and Merle Jackson; and her sister Ella Merle Humphreys. She is survived by: her husband Jack Camhi; her daughter Sarah Taibel (Andrew); her grandchildren, Neal, Elizabeth and Ashley Taibel; and her niece Janelle Pesquera.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sophia and Jack Bender Memorial Chapel at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery (7445 Awty School Ln, Houston, TX 77055).
