Elizabeth Carrow Woolfolk Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Carrow Woolfolk of Houston, Texas, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Maurice Carrow (Careaux) and María; her husband Robert Moore Woolfolk; her sister Alicia Carrow Stirton; and her nephew Charles Stamey.
She is survived by: her daughter Amelie Robinson Woolfolk; her brother Walter Carrow (Fran); and her nieces and nephews, Sherry Kossick O'Hearn, Mindy Benefield, Mark Stamey (Chrissie), Darrell Carrow and Greg Carrow (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.
Betty's generosity reached its maximum expression when she donated the funds to establish the Woolfolk School of Communications Sciences and Disorders at Our Lady of the Lake University and the Woolfolk Endowed Excellence Fund for Research in Language Disorders at the University of Texas in Austin.
