He was predeceased by: his parents, Yolanda Abundis and Jesus Carlos Abundis. He is survived by: his daughters, Clarissa Palos, Marisol Palos and Bella Munoz; and his siblings, Jesus Carlos Palos Jr., Obed Palos, Irasema Menchaca, Maria Aguillon and Judy Leal. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews, two grandnephews, and numerous extended family members and friends.
